THE MAZUR OF A MAN

Las Vegas is similar to L.A. in the '70s, says Ruby Mazur . Back, then, it was full of energy, and so was he. In all, he designed at least 3,000 album covers, Friends among them. The transplanted New Yorker has since switched to portraits of pets, cigars and showgirls. Although he has attracted buys like Prince Mohammed Al-sudairy and Jason Priestley , Ruby plans to revisit the past. He has been working on an autobiography and may design a CD cover for Clint Holmes next year. In addition, a limited-edition range of prints, based on his covers, could be in the works.
